Lyons Finish Seventh at Seven Sisters Championship

WELLESLEY, MASS. – The Mount Holyoke College cross country team finished seventh at the Seven Sisters Championship, hosted by Wellesley on Sunday.

Corrin Moss led the Lyons' overall, finishing 31st in the field of 49  runners, with a time of 24:51.3. Junior Mia Barnes finished close behind with a time of 25:17.6, good for 36th overall, while first year Brigit Wolf was right on her heels at 37th with a time of 25:18.5.

First year Alicia Moroyoqui was the next to cross for MHC, posting a time of 25:32.9 for 40th overall. First year Kayla Dillon crossed 43rd overall with a 25:46.1 mark, while first year Emma Raney was 44th overall with a time of 26:01.2.

Rounding out the field for the Lyons was first year Michelle Serrano, who finished 46th overall with a 26:29.2 mark.

Wellesley earned the overall victory placing first, followed by Vassar, St. Catherine, Smith, Simmons, and Bryn Mawr.

Mount Holyoke will return to action on October 29 at the NEWMAC Championship at Smith College at 12:00pm.
