KEENE, N.H. -- The Mount Holyoke College volleyball team met Keene State College on Halloween night for the second straight year, this time falling 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-23) on the Owls' home court in a non-conference match played Friday night.
Senior Elle Rimando (Mililani, Hawaii) had a match-high 19 kills for the Lyons (13-12), who had four more kills than the Owls (13-12), but 22 more attack errors.
Sophomore Olivia Murray (Miami, Fla.) had seven kills and junior Serena Li (Scarsdale, N.Y.) added five kills.
Junior Kyra Staples (Chatham, Ill.) led all players with 21 digs, and senior Sadie Duffrin (Minneapolis, Minn.) had a match-high 27 assists.
Gigi Stake had eight kills for Keene State, with Colleen Fraser adding seven on .273 hitting and Annaliese adding six kills on .357 hitting. Delia Ryan had 15 digs.
The Lyons return home, and to NEWMAC play, on Tuesday at 6pm against Coast Guard.
