  • Volleyball Garners USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award

    Lexington, Ky. - July 22, 2020 - The Mount Holyoke College volleyball team was recently honored for their efforts both on the court and in the classroom, as the Lyons garnered the United States Marine Corps (USMC)/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award following the 2019-20 academic year. 
  • Former Volleyball Standout Michelle Johannes '93 to be Inducted into CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame

    Greenwood, Ind. - May 1, 2020 - Former Mount Holyoke College volleyball standout Michelle Johannes '93, has been selected to be inducted into the CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Friday afternoon. Johannes, who currently works as a physicist at the Naval Research Laboratory, will be honored at the 2021 CoSIDA Convention, hosted in Orlando, Fla. from May 13-16, 2021.
  • Hendricks '92 Named Department Lyon of the Year; Athletics Hosts Virtual Awards Celebration

Recognized for her hard work and dedication to the department and College, Chair of Physical Education and Director of Athletics, Lori Hendricks '92, was named the Department Lyon of the Year.
