Lexi Popp
Title: Assistant Track & Field Coach (Hurdles/Sprints)

Lexi Popp will serve as an assistant coach for the Mount Holyoke College track and field team during the 2019-20 season. With the Lyons, Popp will be assisting head coach Chris Kibler with student-athletes that compete in hurdles and sprints events.

Popp comes to South Hadley, Mass. after graduating from Westfield State in 2019, where she competed for the Owls' women's track and field program. Popp, who was a captain for her junior and senior season, earned the MASCAC Sporstmanship Award in 2018 and 2019 and also collected MASCAC All-Conference Student Achievement honors in all four seasons she competed. 

A standout student-athlete at Westfield State, Popp earned 18 conference championships in four years, eight of which were individual, with the other 10 being as a member of a relay team. Popp was a national qualifier, competing in the 400 meter hurdles at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Popp also qualified for the 2019 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship in the 400 meter race, where she took seventh overall en route to earning All-America honors. In the same year, Popp took fourth in the 400 meter hurdles at the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, earning the second All-America honor of her career. Popp left Westfield State with eight school records.
