New York, N.Y. - February 29, 2022 - Three Mount Holyoke College squash student-athletes were recognized for their dedication to academics as well as athletics, as the trio earned College Squash Association (CSA) Scholar-Athlete Award, announced by the organization this week.

Mount Holyoke College's Mihiliya Kalahe (Panadura, Sri Lanka), Dnyaneshwari Haware (Mumbai, India), and Elena Frogameni (Florence, Mass.) were the three Lyons to collect this academic award. Kalahe, Haware, and Frogameni are all first-time recipients for this academic honor. 

The Scholar-Athlete Award was granted this season to varsity juniors or seniors who have played on the team throughout their college career, have earned at least two varsity letters, would have been eligible to compete this season, and achieved a high academic standing at their institution. CSA Scholar Athletes embody the values of the association, achieving a high level of play on court while excelling in the classroom.
