  • Methsarani to Compete for Sri Lanka at 2019 South Asian Games in Nepal

    South Hadley, Mass. - November 25, 2019 - Mount Holyoke College's standout sophomore Mihiliya Methsarani (Panadura, Sri Lanka) of the squash team will be competing in the 2019 South Asian Games, hosted in Nepal from December 1 through December 11. The women's squash competition is set to begin on Thursday, December 5.

    South Hadley, Mass. - November 23, 2019 - The Mount Holyoke College squash team welcomed the No. 2-ranked Trinity Bantams to the MHC Squash Courts on Saturday afternoon and the Bantams prevailed, 9-0, in their first win of the season.

    Amherst, Mass. - November 22, 2019 - The Mount Holyoke College squash team earned their first win of the 2019-20 season on Friday afternoon as the Lyons defeated St. Lawrence, 5-4, at the Davenport Squash Courts on the campus of Amherst College. With the win, the Lyons, which were ranked No. 22 in the latest Collegiate Squash Association (CSA) National Rankings, improve to 1-1 on the year while the Saints fall to 0-3.
  • Squash Falls to No. 17 Tufts in Season Opener, 7-2

    Cambridge, Mass. - November 17, 2019 - The Mount Holyoke College squash team played its first match of the 2019-20 season on Sunday morning as the Lyons took on nationally-ranked Tufts University, and fell by the score of 7-2 at the Murr Center Squash Courts on the campus of Harvard University.
