WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - It was a clean sweep for the Mount Holyoke College squash team, who earned a 9-0 win over Bowdoin College in a neutral site match hosted at Williams College. The 27th-ranked Lyons improve to 8-2 on the season, while the Polar Bears are now 0-5. The victory also marked MHC's first win over Bowdoin since January 29, 2012 - an 8-1 triumph.

The two teams played a three-court system on the evening. First year Mihiliya Kalahe Arachchige was the victor at the top of the ladder, besting Clio Bersani by an 11-1, 11-4, 11-7 margin. From two, senior Ragini Ghose powered her way to an 11-6, 11-7, 11-9 victory against Natasha Belsky, while rookie Maeve Watts-Roy battled back after a third game loss to earn an 11-3, 11-8, 3-11, 11-6 triumph over Melissa Horan.

Four saw senior Lessly Portillo pick up an 11-4, 11-8, 11-8 win against Hannah Reiff, while from five, sophomore sophomore Jennifer Mbah bested Lucy Noel, 11-4, 11-2, 11-5. Six saw sophomore Kuzivakwashe Madungwe cruise past Abby Wu with an 11-2, 11-1, 11-1 victory, as senior Tanishka Sachidanand also had a dominating effort, notching an 11-1, 11-0, 11-3 win against Catherine Adams.

At eight, sophomore Emma Robson recorded an 11-4, 11-3, 11-6 victory against Emily Coffin, while the Lyons picked up a win for sophomore Genesis Lara Granados as the Polar Bears only had eight players in their ladder.

Mount Holyoke is back on the court on Sunday, returning to Williams College to square-off against the homestanding Ephs for a 3pm match.
