Golf Currently 8th Following Day 1 of Jack Leaman Invite

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Despite scattered rain and gusty winds, the Mount Holyoke College golf team was in action at the 2019 Jack Leaman Invitational, hosted by Amherst College at the Ledges Golf Course. After the first round, the Lyons have compiled 358 points. Williams College leads the field with a score of 308 points.

Rookie Cortney Qiu leads MHC's efforts on day one, recording a score of 88 to place 32nd overall. Junior Susan Lee is close behind in 34th, finishing Round One with a score of 89.

Junior Stephanie Spitzer sits in 35th with a score of 90, while sophomore Lahela Delaney is 37th with a score of 91.

Williams College leads the field, followed by New York University and Wellesley in second with 324 points. Vassar is in fourth with 330 points, while Middlebury sits fifth with a score of 331 points. Individually, Middlebury's Chloe Levins leads in medalist honors with a score of 75 points.

Action continues on Sunday morning with a shotgun start beginning at 9am.
