South Hadley, Mass. - December 16, 2019 - In a new initiative to reunite teammates and connect teams across generations, Mount Holyoke College's Department of Physical Education and Athletics and Alumnae Association are hosting sport reunions as part of Reunion II from May 22-24, 2020.
"As an MHC alumna, I look forward to seeing my classmates at reunion; however, unless I graduated with them, I don't get to see my teammates," commented Chair of Physical Education and Director of Athletics at Mount Holyoke College Lori Hendricks '92. "This new initiative will enable teammates to reunite on campus and for multiple generations to celebrate the legacy of their sport. In 2020, we are inviting back team members from the sports of equestrian, rowing, and swimming and diving. We will celebrate the College's commitment to women's athletics at our Athletics Hall of Fame and participate in the programming for reunion weekend."
In addition to hosting sport reunions for the Mount Holyoke College rowing, equestrian and swimming and diving programs, the Department of Physical Education and Athletics at Mount Holyoke College will also be hosting the 2020 Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Reception on Friday, May 22 beginning at 7 p.m.
