Catherine Peabody (San Francisco, Calif.) of the tennis team has been selected as the Mount Holyoke College Athletics "Lyon of the Week" after her performance at the New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament (NEWITT) this past weekend.
Peabody, a senior Biology and East Asian Studies double major at Mount Holyoke College, was named the recipient of the Lynn Miller Warrior Award at the tournament. The Lynn Miller Warrior Award is is given to the student-athlete that has either junior or senior status, and embodies competitiveness playing sport while competing at the highest level of integrity.
