Poremba joined the Mount Holyoke College volleyball team as an assistant coach in 2018.

A native of Western Massachusetts, Poremba attended Minnechaug Regional High School. During his career, he was a four-year volleyball standout, including two seasons as captain. He was selected for the Western Massachusetts Super 7 twice, while also playing in the Western Massachusetts All-Star game in both 2012 and 2013.

Currently, Poremba is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Westfield State University. During his tenure, he has helped to create a men’s club volleyball team at the school.
