Iris Carpio will enter her sixth season as the head volleyball coach at Mount Holyoke College during the 2022-23 academic year. Carpio also serves as a lecturer in the Physical Education department at the College.

In her first season with the Lyons, Carpio helped guide the squad to a 10-12 overall record, the most wins for the team since the 2013 campaign. Mount Holyoke also knocked off WPI for their first NEWMAC win since the 2014 season.
Has had nine student-athletes earn NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honors for having a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better
Helped Sasha Simine '20 break Mount Holyoke volleyball program records in single-season hitting % and career hitting %
Simine was also a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree
