NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Mount Holyoke College tennis team concluded action at the 2015 NEWITT Tournament on Saturday at Smith College. It was a solid afternoon as the duo of Amy Chen and Madison Rosen posted a pair of wins.

Chen and Rosen beat Gordon's Drecher and Brucker by an 8-3 margin and went on to claim victory over Smith's Peikes and Smith, 8-6. The duo shouldered a final loss to MIT's Peters and Simmons' Downey, 8-5.

Sophomore Ishita Tibrewal and junior Alexa Colas recorded an, 8-6 win over Hanson and Jeffreys, but lost to Peters and Downey, 8-4.

Mount Holyoke returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts the Quarterfinals of the NEWMAC Tournament at the MHC Tennis Courts. The match, which will see fourth-seeded MHC take on fifth-seeded Wheaton, begins at 3pm.
