MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Mount Holyoke College tennis team saw two players in action this weekend, competing at the ITA Northeast Regionals, hosted by Middlebury College. Despite a strong effort, the Lyons concluded action on Friday.

In doubles, the MHC pair of first year Ayame Yazawa and senior captain Margaux Holloschutz squared off against Amherst's Jackie Calla and Kelsey Chen. The Jeffs duo took the victory by an 8-1 margin.

Yazawa then faced-off against Wesleyan University's Nicole McCann in singles action, falling by a 6-1, 6-3 margin. Holloschutz battled Williams College's Julia Cancio, shouldering a tough 6-1, 6-1 loss.

Mount Holyoke returns to the courts on Saturday when it travels to Worcester for a 1pm NEWMAC match at Clark University.
