Erin Robson served her 11th season as the head squash coach at Mount Holyoke College in 2022-23. Robson is also a Lecturer in the Mount Holyoke College Deparment of Physical Education and Athletics and is one of three advisors for the Athlete Empowerment Coalition, a student organization for first generation and ethnic minority student-athletes at MHC.

At Mount Holyoke College

  • Student-athletes have qualified for the CSA Individual National Championship 13 times under Robson's leadership.
  • Has earned four of the Lyons' 11 Seven Sisters Championship Titles 
  • Helped Mount Holyoke to earn the CSA Most Improved Team Award for 2018-19
  • Coached Mihiliya Methsarani '22 to consecutive CSA Individual National Championship appearances (2019, 2020). Methsarani also competed for her home country of Sri Lanka in the South Asian Games during the 2019-20 season.
  • Currently involved with the CSA coaches group on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Before Mount Holyoke College

  • Head Coach of Williams College from 1994-1997 (was also head tennis coach)
    • Team was nationally-ranked in Top 10 for all three seasons under Robson's leadership
    • Held position of Ranking Chair for the USWISRA
  • Has served as an assistant coach and a head coach at Smith College
  • Started career at Vassar College as the assistant for the men's and women's programs, while also holding the position of sports information director.
    • Two National All-American players

Personal

  • A former tennis and squash standout at Amherst College, Robson earned her Bachelor of Arts from the school in 1990. She went on to earn her Masters in exercise and sports studies from Smith in 1994.
