SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The 2017 Seven Sisters Squash Championship is set to kick off on Saturday as four teams converge in South Hadley for the honor of being this year's champions. Hosted by Mount Holyoke, the Lyons welcome Smith, Vassar and Wellesley for an exciting day of action at the MHC Squash Courts within the Kendall Sports and Dance Complex.
Action kicks off at 10am as Smith and Mount Holyoke square off. That match will be followed by Wellesley against Vassar at 11:15am. The four teams will then compete on split courts for the remainer of the day's action.
Wellesley enters Saturday's action having won each of the last three Seven Sisters Championship titles for a history total of five. Mount Holyoke won the previous seven before that, while Vassar has won the previous four titles. Additionally, the Lyons, Smith and Wellesley were tri-champions in 2000.
