Williamson Concludes Season at CSA Individual Championships

STAMFORD, Conn. - Sophomore Brandy Williamson posted a first game win, but it wasn't enough as she fell in the consolation round of the Halloran Division at CSA Individual Championships. Hosted at the Chelsea Piers Club, Williamson shouldered a 3-1 loss to conclude her season.

The New York, N.Y., native squared off against Middlebury's Tiffany Hau in the consolation round of the Halloran Division. Despite posting an 11-8 victory in the opening game, she was unable to battle back, falling 11-4, 12-10 and 11-5 in the final three games for the loss to the Panthers' senior.

Williamson squared off against Brown University's Quincy Beck in the Main Draw opener on Friday evening. Despite a strong effort, she fell against Beck in a 3-0 decision. After suffering an 11-1 opening loss in game one, Williamson battled back but fell 11-9 in the second game. Beck grabbed an 11-7 victory in the third to take the match.

Mount Holyoke concluded its season with an 8-16 overall record.
