Squash Suffers Road Loss at Colby

WATERVILLE, Maine — The 23rd-ranked Colby College squash team bested 27th-ranked Mount Holyoke College on Tuesday, notching a 9-0 victory at the Dunaway Courts.

Devin Mullaney earned an 11-7, 11-5, 11-4 victory over Brandy Williamson at the first position. Senior captain Julie Wolpow moved to a team-best 4-2 on the season with a victory at the second spot against MHC junior Allison Shilling, 11-9, 11-4, 11-6.

Mules first-year Helen Bernhard had the closest match at three, posting an 11-6, 11-8, 11-9 win against Lyons rookie Ragini Ghose. Mikaela Johnson, Cricket di Galoma, Elise O'Brien, Caroline Pelham, Ren Robinson, and Lily Wain had the other Colby wins.

The Mules (3-3 overall) return to action on Friday when it faces 21st-ranked Wesleyan in the Pioneer Valley Invitational. The match, which will be played at Smith College, begins at 4pm. Mount Holyoke is back in action on Wednesday when it travels to Bowdoin (12pm) and Bates (5:30pm).
