Anthony Tranghese joined the Mount Holyoke College soccer team as an assistant coach in 2014. He served as the program's interim head coach during the 2018 season. Since his arrival, he has helped head coach Kanae Haneishi lead the Lyons to two of the top-winningest seasons in recent history. He serves as the team's goalkeeper coach, and is also a recruiter and strength coach.

As the Lyons interim head coach in the 2018 season, he guided the squad to a 3-12-2 overall record, including wins against Simmons, Southern Vermont and NEWMAC-rival, Wellesley.

In addition to his responsibilities at Mount Holyoke, Tranghese also coaches the FC Mass U13 girls' premier team and serves as the head coach of the Western United U12 boys' team.

Prior to Mount Holyoke, Tranghese was the assistant coach for Western United, and continues to serve the team as a talent evaluator. He has also worked a number of camps, including winter and summer camps at Mount Holyoke, as well as the University of Massachusetts summer camp, and the Nike Joga Bonita camp.

A native of East Longmeadow, Mass., Tranghese competed for four years at Division II American International College. He also played Super Y for Western United. He earned a degree in Business Administration from American International in 2008.
