THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes Clark University for the 22nd time in program hisstory dating back to 1997. The Cougars currently hold a 14-6-1 advantage in the series, but The Lyons have won the last three contests.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-9-1; 0-5-0 NEWMAC) enters the match after two conference losses to Coast Guard and MIT. The Lyons fell to Coast Guard after a late goal was scored with 13 seconds left to win the game 1-0. Junior goal keeper Amanda Manaster, who leads the conference in saves (119) saw 13 shots, making 12 stops on the night. In the next match, the Lyons shouldered a 6-0 loss to MIT on the road. Manaster recorded a career-high 20 saves in the loss.

THE COUGARS: Clark University (6-4-1; 1-2-1 NEWMAC) comes in off of a 3-0 win over Fitchburg State on Saturday. First year defender Janiah Lambert was a large contributer in the victory as she assisted on all three goals for the Cougars. Overall, junior forward Eliza Meltzer leads the squad with 10 points on four goals and two assists.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke will be back at home on Saturday for a NEWMAC contest against WPI at 2:00pm, while Clark will also be in action, hosting Wheaton College at 1:00pm.
