THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes Springfield College to South Hadley for the 24th time in program history dating back to 1979. The Pride currently hold a 20-3 advantage, while the Lyons most recent win came with a 1-0 victory in 2015.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-6-1; 0-2-0 NEWMAC) enters the match after a 3-3 tie against Bay Path College on Tuesday. Three different Lyons notched a goal, while senior captain Suz Rose and junior forward Sara Sanaú Ruiz added an assist along with their tallies. Overall, Sanaú Ruiz leads the team and is fifth in the NEWMAC with 13 points on six goals and a helper. In net, junior keeper Amanda Manaster is second in the conference with 74 saves. 

THE PRIDE: Springfield (7-1-0; 1-1-0 NEWMAC) comes in off of a 6-1 win at home over UMass-Dartmouth on Tuesday. The Pride had six different goal scorers in the contest, while sophomore midfielder Sydney Wine posted a pair of assists. Senior forward Kim Quiles is third in the NEWMAC with six goals on the year.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke will will conclude a three-game homestand on Tuesday against Coast Guard Academy at 6:00pm. Springfield will also be in action on Tuesday, hosting Clark at 7:00pm.
