THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke is back in action at home on Saturday, welcoming the Mountaineers of Southern Vermont College. In the all-time series, which dates back to 1998 (a 1-0 SVC victory), the Lyons currently hold the edge by a 4-2 margin. MHC has won each of the last four meetings since 2013.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (1-2-0) shouldered a tough loss to #14 Amherst on Thursday evening in its home debut. Junior keeper Amanda Manaster made seven stops for the Lyons, which also saw senior forward Sara Sanau Ruiz post her team-leading ninth shot on goal this season.

THE MOUNTAINEERS: Southern Vermont (1-2-0) is back in action following a 5-1 win over Lyndon State on Wednesday. The Mountaineers were led by junior captain Molly Madore, who notched two of the squads tallies, including the 30th of her career. Senior Melissa Mascari earned the win in goal, recording two stops.

NEXT UP: Following this afternoon's game, Mount Holyoke is back on the pitch on Tuesday in a 4:30pm contest at Western New England. Southern Vermont returns to the field on Wednesday with a 4pm match at Plymouth State.
