VERO BEACH, Fla. – The Mount Holyoke College golf team wrapped up its spring trip on Friday against Vassar College and Hamilton College. The Brewers finished first with an overall score of 356, followed by the Continentals with 362, and then the Lyons with a 384 mark.

Leading the Lyons was sophomore Stephanie Spitzer (Hinsdale, Ill/Hinsdale Central), who finished fourth overall with 88 points. The Lyons next top finisher was classmate Elizabeth Andrian (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury), followed behind by first year Caitlyn Richmond (Northampton, Mass./Northampton) with 96 and 99 scores, respectively. Rounding out the field for the Lyons was sophomore Susan Lee (Irvine, Calif./University HS), shooting a 101 on the day to give MHC an overall score of 384.

Hamilton Sophomore Winda Wanikpun (Bang Kapi, Thailand/Loomis Chaffee School) led the field after shooting for a score of 78. Leading the first-place Brewers was sophomore Andrea Han (La Crescenta, Calif./Crescenta Valley) and first year Margaret Liu (Shanghai, China/Montverde Academy) each shooting an 86 to help the team to a winning score of 356.

Mount Holyoke will see the Brewers soon at the Vassar Invitational on Saturday, April 14th for an 11:00am start time. Hamilton will have over a month off before competing at the Ithaca College invitational on Saturday, April 21st for an 11:00am tee-off time.
