THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes the Bears of the United States Coast Guard Academy for the 32nd time in program history. The series dates back to 1998-99, which saw MHC pick up a trio of consecutive victories. The Lyons went on to win 12 out of the next 14 games, including a stretch with eight straight victories. The Bears have had the most recent success winning the last seven, but Mount Holyoke holds a 17-14 series advantage.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-21 overall; 0-15 NEWMAC) enters its final game of the regular season following an 88-27 home loss to Smith College. The squad was led by sophomore guard Leah Hodges, who had eight points, five rebounds, and two blocks. Hodges is averaging 10.6 points over the last five games, after averaging 5.9 points per game in her previous 13 games. On the season, senior forward Xajaah Williams-Flores is averaging 10.1 rebounds a game.  
 
THE BEARS: Coast Guard (10-14 overall; 7-8 NEWMAC) comes into Saturday's action on a two-game win streak after picking up a 63-50 victory over Emerson on the road last week. Three players scored in double-figures, including junior Gill Gerton who had 16 points and 11 boards. For the season, Gerton is leading her team with a near double-double, averaging 12.5 points and 9.2 rebounds.
