RIDING

Mount Holyoke was idle this past week, but returns to action on Thursday when it competes at this year's IHSA National Championships in Lexington, Kentucky. Action runs until Sunday.

TRACK & FIELD

Mount Holyoke was back on the track this weekend, competing at the 2016 NEWMAC Championships, hosted by Coast Guard. The Lyons, who finished ninth overall, saw a number of strong finishes led by a sixth-place effort in the 100-meter hurdles by sophomore Shante Henderson (New York, N.Y.). MHC will see qualified individuals back in action on May 6-7 at the 2016 Division III New England Championships, hosted by Springfield College.

LACROSSE

The Lyons posted a 12-10 win over Smith to conclude their 2016 season last week. MHC was paced by senior captain Julia Bell (Longmeadow, Mass.), who notched a game-best five goals to finish with 49 on the season. Mount Holyoke finished its season going 3-11 overall with a 2-6 mark in NEWMAC action.

ROWING

The Lyons were in action last weekend at the 2016 New England Rowing Championships on Lake Quinsigamond. MHC saw the varsity eight finish 16th overall in its event, while the second varsity eight was 15th on the day. Mount Holyoke is back in the water on Sunday when it competes at the National Invitational Rowing Championships, once again hosted on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester.
