Bobbie Bigelow is the Head IEA Coach at Mount Holyoke College and also serves as Assistant to the Event Coordinator. 

Bobbie has been riding horses for over twenty years; she was on the MHC IEA team 2007-2010, where she won Nationals Open o/f in 2008 and again placed eighth in the class in 2009.  Her junior equitation career highlights include competing at the Massachusetts Horsemen's Council Days of Champions Equitation Finals, the New England Equitation Championships, and the ASPCA Medal Maclay National Championship. 

Bobbie graduated from the University of Connecticut with Bachelor's Degrees in both Animal Science and Pathobiology & Veterinary Science.  During her time at UConn, Bobbie was heavily involved in her sorority (Alpha Epsilon Phi) and also played on the UConn Polo Team.  Bobbie has worked as a docent for the Mystic Aquarium, held a position on the board of directors for a non-profit/ no-kill animal shelter, worked for WinStar Farm in KY prepping for the yearling Thoroughbred sales, and has had experience working with renowned hunter/jumper and equitation professionals throughout the years. 

Walking through the stables at the MHC Equestrian Center you will see Bobbie's two horses, Rival & Reign.  Rival and Bobbie have been together for fifteen years!  And now, Bobbie & Reign have recently begun to pursue the eventing sport world and are having great fun finding their way on this new venture.  When not at the MHC Equestrian Center, Bobbie also works at her family's business "BigPower" in Worcester, MA.
