Sharyn Antico is the Marketing & Events manager at the Mount Holyoke College Equestrian Center. Antico was born and raised on her parents’ farm in Southwick, Mass., where she lives today with her own family. Antico attended Midway College in Kentucky, where she first found her passion for Eventing. After college Sharyn moved back to Massachusetts where she spent over 10 years working in riding programs for two prominent private girls’ schools. It was during that time that Sharyn started to secretary a number of horse trials in Area 1.
Since 2006, Antico has been the secretary and co-organizer for the Millbrook Horse Trials (NY). In addition to her roles running the competition, she is a member and secretary for the MHT Board. Antico is also the event secretary for Carolina International (NC). In addition to her secretary/organizing roles, Antico holds a USEF ‘R’ Eventing Technical Delegate license. Antico has been actively involved with the USEA Area 1 Council since 2004 and is currently a Board of Govenors for the United States Eventing Association as the VP of Competitons/Organizer Representative.
In early 2019, Antico joined the American Horse Trials Foundation [AHTF] and is the current Executive Director. Antico spent many years in the saddle, both competitively and for pleasure. However, in most recent years she has turned her energy towards her two children, Jacob and Samantha.
