RIDING

Mount Holyoke was back in action on Saturday, hosting its final regular season home show at the MHC Equestrian Center. The Lyons saw a number of outstanding efforts as multiple athletes earned top honors, including senior Mollie Kowalchik (Loveland, Ohio), who garnered Overall High Point Rider recognition. Additionally, MHC honored all Zone 1, Region 3 senior riders, including 11 of their own. Mount Holyoke is now idle until March 24th when it competes at the UMass Show, hosted by Hampshire College.

SWIMMING & DIVING

Mount Holyoke saw sophomore Samantha Nemivant (Scottsdale, Ariz.) put forth an outstanding effort at the 2018 NCAA Division III Northeast/North Diving Regionals, hosted by Middlebury College. Nemivant finished sixth on the 3-meter board and then captured seventh on the 1-meter board to qualify for the 2018 NCAA National Championships. She will return to action on March 22, opening competition on the 1-meter board. The 3-meter event will take place on March 24. Nemivant becomes the first diver since 2003 to represent the Lyons at Nationals.

SQUASH

Senior captain Brandy Williamson (New York, N.Y.) was in action at the CSA Individual Nationals last weekend, hosted by George Washington University. Despite a hard-fought effort, Williamson fell in the opening round of 16 before shouldering another tough loss in the consolation quarterfinals.

TRACK & FIELD

Mount Holyoke is idle until March 24th when they open their outdoor schedule at the Wesleyan Invitational.

TENNIS

The Lyons shouldered a tough 6-3 loss to Bates last weekend at home. The Lyons saw a number of strong efforts at the match, which also served as the team's Coaches vs. Cancer game. Through fundraising efforts for colorectal cancer patients, the Lyons raised over $1,000. Mount Holyoke (3-4) is idle this week, but returns to action next Tuesday in Spring Training Trip action in Orlando, Fla.
