RIDING

Mount Holyoke was back in action last weekend, competing at the Winter I Tournament of Champions event in Ohio. The Lyons powered their way to victory by a 1-point margin over the defending national champions from SCAD behind several outstanding performances. Pacing the effort were sophomores Sarah Etzel (Northampton, Mass.) and Franny Eremeeva (Northampton, Mass.), who each picked up blue ribbons in Walk Trot Canter and Open Flat, respectively. MHC is right back in action on Saturday when they travel to Hardeesville, South Carolina to compete at the fourth and final event in the Tournament of Champions series, the Winter II. Action begins at 8am.
