SWIMMING & DIVING

The Lyons (1-3) were idle for the Thanksgiving holiday, but return to action on Friday and Saturday at the Hamilton College Invitational. Action kicks off on the Friday at 5pm and Saturday will see split sessions at both 10am and 5pm.  Fans can follow all the action live (when available) at http://athletics.mtholyoke.edu/sports/wswimdive/2017-18/schedule.

SQUASH

BASKETBALL

The Lyons shouldered a tough loss to Elms last week as sophomore guard Katlyn Grover (Bernardston, Mass.) recorded a game-high 14 points with nine rebounds. MHC (0-4) opens NEWMAC play this week, beginning Wednesday with a 7pm home match against WPI. The team wraps-up the week with another home contest, welcoming MIT at 1pm. TRACK & FIELD

Under the direction of 31st-year head coach Tina Lee, the Lyons indoor track & field team opens its season on Saturday at the Smith College Invitational. Action at the meet kicks-off at 11am. Last season, MHC saw solid efforts both on and off the field of competition. Junior Donari Yahzid (Atlanta, Ga./Fountain Valley School of Colorado) finished 16th in the long jump at the New England Division III Indoor Championships, while overall, the squad posted the second-highest grade point average among Division III programs. The Lyons were one of 294 total teams recognized by the USTFCCCA with All-Academic honors, and one of 183 women's programs to earn the accolade.
